Etekcity smartscale uses Beken Bluetooth IC
There are many Smart scales in the market today. Some of these smart scales also track body fat, muscle mass etectra. These Smart scales transfer this data to the mobile phone either through Bluetooth of WiFI.
Etekcity is one such Smart scale vendor. The firm recently qualified its high Capacity 550 Pound Digital Body Weight Scale . This smart scale uses Beken BK3432 IC for Bluetooth connectivity.
Etekcity also offers other Bluetooth products such as Smart nutrition scale, Bluetooth headset etcetra. I scanned some of firm other product teardowns and found Beken chips inside these.

I did not find any details about the MCU core in their datasheet. If someone knows about their MCU core, it will be interesting to hear from you in the comments.
Another interesting aspect about BK3432 chip is the dual mode Bluetooth radio. This dual mode is not the reason Etekcity selected this chip for its Smart scale product. Rather, the most likely reason is that Etekcity uses BK3432 for smart scales is to eliminate its switching costs to a new supplier.
